I think it&amp;#39;s my first Question of the Day, and I can&amp;#39;t believe it&amp;#39;s loo roll that&amp;#39;s got me responding. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I didn&amp;#39;t realise there were intelligent people who seriously believed it&amp;#39;s correct to have it under the roll. I assumed that when I came across such arrangements it was put that way by someone who&amp;#39;d never even thought about the issue and it was just 50/50 chance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am saddened that I have been enlightened to others&amp;#39; ideas on this. Over is not only easier to use in at least two respects, but also looks nicer, and anyone who thinks otherwise lives in some weird fantasy world with upside down hands and an altered sense of aesthetics.
